President's Message

It is my honor to represent the San Diego Chapter of PayrollOrg as President for the second time. I cannot emphasize enough how important participation is from all of you—the SDPO membership. I encourage you to get involved by volunteering your time on our board, attending our monthly meetings, or serving as a member of one of our committees.

Joining a professional organization should be a rewarding experience. We have a great lineup of speakers for this year’s monthly meetings, along with comprehensive educational and study opportunities. Our chapter provides a platform where you can expand your knowledge of payroll and related areas through monthly meetings and FPC/CPP study groups.

The payroll profession has evolved significantly over the years, growing from an entry-level function into a key management role within organizations. As technology and artificial intelligence continue to gain momentum, payroll’s role within companies will only continue to expand. The SDPO is dedicated to keeping our members up to date on ever-changing rules and regulatory updates.
